The Tackan PTA is offering you one last opportunity this Fall to
place your special orders for Tackan Spirit Wear on select Fall Items including
Long Sleeve Hoodies, Long Sleeve Tshirts and Long Sleeve Tie Die Tee Shirts in
sizes that range from Youth Xtra Small to Adult XXXL!

If you would like to place an order, visit the TackanPTA website, print an order form out and send in your cash or check (made
out to Tackan PTA) no later than Wednesday, October 23rd.

Unfortunately no orders can be accepted after that time.

PS Keep your eyes open for the practice test and answer key…I plan to send it home on Friday for you to start using it to study. This is a very short unit/module. The test is scheduled for Friday, October 18th. Opps….I meant October 25th 🙂

For our first visit to the computer lab this year…

We are learning how to post comments on a blog. The best part of a blog (in my opinion), is that it is interactive!

Everyone is welcome to post comments to me and to each other under the categories of my posts. I will sometimes even ask specific questions that students must answer. Throughout the year, I also like to post “Extra Mile” challenges for students to complete if they wish.

Today I have invited my students to introduce themselves to the world. Please read our comments!

We will be culminating our Module #1 in mathematics on Friday with a Post-Module Assessment.

In order to help support you at home, while you support your son/daughter, I again created a practice test that you can use to have them review the material that will be assessed. Attatched to the back of the test is an answer key. Please use this to see the way they have been taught to respond to the questions in class. Please note that this test is still 5 school days away. We will be continuing to learn and practice in class.

I wanted to give you the opportunity to use some weekend time, in addition to next week, to help your child. This is optional but highly recommended to use at home. It is for your use only. Please don’t send it back into school to be collected.
