Monday
Today we had a morning meeting and had a book talk by Matt. He did the book talk on My Brother Sam Is Dead. After that we did our spelling pre-test. After that we went to the library and then had snack. Then we did a read aloud from the book Spies on the Devils Belt. We did writers workshop. In writers workshop we worked on our fiction stories. Then we had lunch and recess. Then we did poetry. We had math groups and readers workshop outside in the nature mall. Then we packed up and then we played pig. Then we went home.
Tuesday
Today we did our morning work, morning meeting, and a book talk by Anthony Descalo. He did a book talk on Harry Potterand the Chamber of Secrets. Then we did math groups and then we had snack. Then we went to the computer lab. After that we had lunch and came back to our class to do writers workshop. Then we packed up and went to art. After that we went home.
Wednesday
Today we had a sub named Mrs.Zito because our teacher Mrs.Spatawas grading the state science tests for 4th grade and 8th grade.We did a book talk by Peter. He did a book talk on Harry Potter and the Sorcerer of Stone. After that we finished the poem book named Love That Dog. Then we had math and then snack. We did read more of the Spies on the Devils Belt and then we did readers workshop. Then we had lunch and recess and then we did more math groups and did the great body shop. After that we packed up and went to gym. We had to run the mile. Then we went home.
Thursday
Today we had a morning meeting and a book talk by Nick and he was doing a book talk on the book Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban. Then we had a big chunk of writers workshop and then had snack. After that we had Social Studies and then had lunch and recess. Then we did math. In math we learned how to check our division. Then we went to gym and ran the mile. When we came back we packed up and then went home.
Friday
Today we had a morning meeting and then we had an assembly on science. The topic was on force. Then we had snackand did a book talkby Kyle. He did a book talk on Lunch Money. Then we had a spelling test on 12 words. After that we had a read aloud called Spies on the Devils Belt. Then we had lunch and recess. After that we had music and practiced on our recorders. Then we had our division quiz. After that we had writers workshop and during writers workshop Mrs.Parelli opened the Spata Store. Then we packed up and went home.
