I truly can’t believe that our year is coming to an end!
We are still working hard in class to learn new things every day! (We even have a few tests to take.)
We also have many fun events planned as our year comes to a close.

Wednesday, June 8– Fifth Grade Show
Thursday, June 9– Module 6 Math Test
Friday, June 10– Vocabulary Test and Fire Prevention Program
Monday, June 13– Fourth Grade Poetry and Art Night at Deepwells Mansion
Thursday, June 16– Smithtown Library Summer Reading Program Presentation
and Fourth Grade Tie-Dye Party
Friday, June 17– Book Buddy Beach Reading
and End of the Year Pizza Party
Monday, June 20– Sharpen the Saw Day
Tuesday, June 21– (1/2 Day of School)
Wednesday, June 22– Last Day of Fourth Grade (1/2 Day of School)
**Report Cards will be in your child’s backpack the last day of school.**
The New York State Elementary Science Assessment will take place Monday morning.
Be sure to…
Get a really good night’s sleep.
Eat a filling breakfast.
Bring sharpened #2 pencils
**If you are not taking this state assessment, please come to school with books to read for aprox 1 1/2 hours.

Bring at least two sharpened #2 pencils with you to school.
***If you plan to Opt your child out of the assessments this year,
we require a signed note to be sent in to the school. Students who refuse the test will need to bring a few books to school these days, so that they have something to read. ***
