Drill.

Your children will be dismissed from

school 15 minutes earlier than normal.

Due to circumstances beyond my control….

Native American Day

(originally scheduled for tomorrow)

has been cancelled.

We will be having it next Tuesday, December 1st.

If you were one of my many volunteers… I am so sorry for the change in plans. Please except my heartfelt apologies for the inconvenience this has caused. You are welcome to come on our make-up day if you are available. Please just let me know.

Native American Day Help

Math Test

both Topic 3 and Topic 4.

I have posted all of the math lessons and their quizzes onto your Pearson assignment page. Please use them to help you prepare for the test.

I would like to take a moment to acknowledge a great achievement of one of my students.

Nick has been elected by the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders of Tackan Elementary School…. to the Student Council Secretary position!!!

Native American Day

Fourth Grade will have a very special day to celebrate the culmination of our Native American Unit on Tuesday, November24th.

We will circulate through 4 Native American stations and have a class Pow-Wow to end the day.

I am asking for volunteers to come in and support our station, which is a “Rain Stick” making station. The time slots are from 10-11:30 and 11:30-12:45. I can have 2 helpers during each slot.

Please let me know if you are available and interested in participating in this fun filled day with the fourth grade.

Meeting our Book Buddies

On Monday we met our Book Buddies for the first time.

They are Miss Ryan’s Kindergarten class.

These will be fun relationships that we will have throughout the entire school year. We will do many fun and educational activities together this year!!
