It is so hard for me to believe that our year together is coming quickly to an end! We have several special events over the final few weeks and I wanted to share them with you so that you can mark your calendars.
I have promised my students that if they work hard we will play hard too! 🙂
We will continue to work hard and learn in all subject areas. However, there will be a lot of fun in the next few weeks too!
Tuesday, May 19th:Â Mrs. Spata’s Annual Tax Day!!
Thursday, May 21st: New York State Elementary Science Performance Assessment (If you are having your child “refuse this test” or opt-out, a signed note must be sent into school.  Anyone refusing this test should come to school with a few books to read quietly.)
Monday, May 25th: Memorial Day (no school)
Friday, May 29th: Road to the Revolution Social Studies test
Monday, June 1st:Â New York State Elementary Science Written Assessment (See note for May 21st)
Thursday, June 4th: Tackan Field Day! Fourth Graders wear the color yellow. 🙂
Tuesday, June 9th: End of Module Math test and Book Buddy Activity
Wednesday, June 10th: Fourth Grade Field Trip- A Walk Through History with Abraham Woodhull! (Please see flyer sent home with regards to how to prepare for this trip.)
Friday, June 12th: Summer Reading Assembly
Tuesday, June 16th: Fourth Grade’s Annual Poetry and Art Night at Deepwells 6:30PM (Rain date is Thursday, June 18th)
Wednesday, June 17th: Book Buddy Beach Blanket Reading and Fire Prevention and 5th Grade End-of-the-Year Show!
Thursday, June 18th: Fourth Grade Tie-Dye Event
Friday, June 19th: Water Safety Presentation
Monday, June 22nd: Sharpen the Saw Day!!
