Today we had a wonderful time with our Book Buddies from Miss Ryan’s Kindergarten class!!

We decorated gingerbread cookies using lots of yummy toppings! The challenge was that our cookie and our book buddies cookie had to look exactly the same.

We now have volunteers for all the supplies that we need for our two fun projects this week!

We still have a need for some important supplies for our two fun December projects. Our Book Buddy gingerbread cookie decorating…and our class holiday party! Please let me know if you are able to help by sending something in. :O)

On Wednesday, December 22nd we will be decorating gingerbread cookies with our kindergarten book buddies.

Supplies Needed:

2 packages of peel apart twizzlers   (donated)

bag of mini M&Ms    (donated)

bag of mini chocolate chips   (donated)

2 bags of coconut shavings    (donated)

On Thursday, December 23rd we will have a class winter ice cream party.

Supplies needed for 25 sundaes:

bowls  (donated)

2 gallons of ice cream     (1 gallon donated)

whip cream   (donated)

chocolate syrup    (donated)

cherries    (donated)

sprinkles    (donated)

any yummy toppings:

gummy bears  (donated)

hot fudge   (donated)

swedish fish     (donated)

In addition, we sent a few e-cards to soldiers overseas to send our thanks for all they do for us!!

As you know…I will have to opportunity to speak with each of you individually at our scheduled Parent-Teacher conferences during the next few days. (Reminder that dismissal will begin at 11:45 Friday, Monday, and Tuesday.)

This time of the year always flies by so quickly!!! :O)
